Lutzick Snowdrift Arrays Book - PREORDER

"In 1994, Dan Lutzick moved from Irvine, California, into a dilapidated former post office in rural Winslow, Arizona, to help restore a nearby historic hotel. Little did he know that decades later, his choice to live and work in Winslow would evolve from creating artwork in his first downtown studio into building a world in the huge, abandoned department store that is now Snowdrift Art Space, with inspiration and materials from four historic hotels feeding his creative inclinations.

This book records the efforts that resulted in the Arrays exhibit at the Affeldt Mion Museum. Like Dan’s artwork, it is layered with the history of his studios, the origins of his materials, and the evolution of his ideas. The book, and the exhibit it documents, are snapshots in time, reflecting how choices, actions, and chance have led to this exhibit, in this museum, at this moment. For Dan, it is a chance to pause and think about the work he has created as well as the ideas behind it and where they are leading him. For the public, it is a chance to sample the experience of Snowdrift Art Space."
